Hikora is a small, founder-led tech academy in Leicester, preparing to open our doors to 7 to 18 year olds. Joining now means joining at the very beginning, where the people we hire will shape how thousands of young people first meet coding, AI, robotics and game development. The work is hands-on, fast-moving and genuinely warm: a home for people who would rather build something they believe in than slot into a machine that already exists. We are ambitious about what we are creating, honest that we are early, and serious about doing right by every child and parent who trusts us.

Computer Science Instructor
Lead our coding and computer science classes for 7 to 18 year olds, turning real programming into something young people find exciting and within reach. Perfect for an experienced teacher or industry developer who loves the moment an idea finally clicks.
- Plan and deliver engaging, project-based lessons in coding and computer science across a range of ages and abilities
- Adapt your explanations and pace so every child is challenged at the right level and leaves each session with something they have built
- Help shape our curriculum and resources as we launch and grow our weekly classes
- Build warm, trusting relationships with students and keep parents informed of their child's progress
Robotics Instructor
Run our hands-on robotics sessions, where children design, build and program robots that genuinely move and do things. Ideal for a maker, engineer or STEM educator who comes alive around hardware.
- Deliver practical robotics workshops that blend building, coding and problem-solving for different age groups
- Set up, maintain and care for kits and equipment so sessions run smoothly and safely
- Guide students through real challenges, encouraging persistence when things do not work first time

Data Analyst
Help a young organisation understand itself, from enrolment and attendance to how families find us and what keeps them engaged. A great fit for someone who enjoys turning messy early-stage information into clear, useful insight.
- Set up simple, reliable ways to track enrolment, attendance, enquiries and marketing performance
- Turn data into clear dashboards and plain-English summaries that help the team decide what to do next
- Spot trends and patterns that help us improve classes, scheduling and how we reach parents
- Handle all data responsibly, with privacy and the safeguarding of family information as a priority
Marketing Manager
Own how Hikora shows up to parents across Leicester and beyond, from social media to local outreach. Suited to a warm, creative marketer who can tell an honest, compelling story for a brand still finding its voice.
- Plan and run campaigns across social media, email and local community channels to reach parents of 7 to 18 year olds
- Create clear, warm content that explains what we do and why it matters, without hype or overclaiming
- Build relationships with schools, community groups and local partners to grow awareness ahead of launch
- Track what is working and refine our approach, working closely with the founder on strategy and budget
Assistant Instructor
Support our lead instructors in the classroom and give every child the individual attention that helps them thrive. A wonderful first step for someone early in their teaching or tech journey who is brilliant with young people.
- Support the lead instructor during sessions, helping individual students who need a little extra guidance
- Set up activities, equipment and materials before class and help tidy away afterwards
- Encourage a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels welcome and able to ask questions
- Help keep sessions safe and well-organised, following our safeguarding practices at all times
